I saw an advertisement on Facebook by wayfair and made the purchase, but I now realize it was a scam, what is the process to stop a pending payment?

For anything urgent, call PayPal.

You can google that number to verify it really is PP Support.

Thank you both for your posts!
Please note, using Google or any other web search engine to find the PayPal Customer Service phone number carries risk. Fraudsters' numbers can be propagated through search engines. To find how to contact PayPal Customer Service, click Contact on the PayPal website at the bottom of the page.
I hope this is helpful!

@PayPal_Olivia I have called the number which I included in my post so I know it's PayPal's real Support number. Also, when I googled to verify that I was remembering it correctly, I looked at a site which showed an authentic PayPal URL (and not something funky like Pay-Pal ... or whatever). Thanks for your concern!
