Never use google to get your bank / paypal / or credit card numbers as scammers will put numbers into the search engine to scam you.
Paypal always advise you to click help/contact ON their website to access the correct information OR you can ask on here.
Unfortunately its not paypals fault you phoned a scammer and lost funds. 😐

You are some what correct and I know that now and your answer is pretty much what tech support and the company told me which makes me think that who you work not a community person on this page but that not real here nor there. The thing I dot get if i was a big company I think i would be checking so the people who use my page and have been faithfully for years were not getting scammed and then would do more then just say what you just said to me. I even sent them proof hours later the first number i was shown on a search to speak to their fraud team was the same people scammed me . I just want people to know to be careful and also to understand how badly this company can treat someone who ahs been using for so long that they can just be tossed aside and moved on. So i plan on telling every one to watch out because I want them to know about the scamming and paypal how they act when your a victim.

Well banks / credit cards / other payment processors ALL have scam numbers inputted into google searches and ALL tell you that you should never use that option to search for phone numbers for financial sites but use their own websites.
And no of course I don't work for paypal, funny how its only folks that don't like being told the facts that accuse me of working for Paypal. I work in healthcare thanks.
There are so many scammers out there but if you communicate with the scammer either by clicking a link in an email or phoning a scam phone number then I fail to see how the real company can be remotely responsible for your error.
I needed to get in touch with my bank but was well aware to NEVER use google, so I went on my banking app to contact them, its called common sense.
