Scammed friends and family -but I notified PayPal IMMEDIATELY this person was a scammer now I’ve been charged the monies for merchandise never received.I am out of work and disabled and cannot afford this financially and psychologically -what can I do as PayPal is doing nothing
Clearly states when you send friends/family payments on the web OR on the app that you have 0 buyer protection if you do so.
So no Paypal won't help you as you chose to send a 'gift' of money to someone. You were not purchasing goods, if you were then you would have used the goods/services option WITH buyer protection. You're choice, you're call and sadly you're loss.
