I received three emails today saying I have added a phone number and updated my name and address of which I had done none, now I’m having trouble trying to change my password

Go to legal bottom right of this page and select the user agreement for your country.

Then scroll down to the section on unauthorised and there is a phone number in there you can use.

I've received fake emails that have basically said something like "someone has tried to log in to your account" with a link. Never click any link, always contact Paypal. Also if you call just speak jibberish so the computer will put you through to an operator, or repeat "operator" over and over because they think that a computer will help you. Good luck!
