Unauthorized Payments from my bank account

Hi there,

I registered a Paypal account several years ago, but I seldom use it. I seldom used it to pay anything, maybe just once or twice. I tried to log in last year, it requires me to upload my personal identity. I thought as I nearly never used it, I did not verify.

Basically, I have cards in three banks, ANZ, Commonwealth, and Westpac. I am sure that I only give the detail of my ANZ bank account to Paypal for payment, as my first credit card is from ANZ.

However, recently, something weird happened to my bank account. As you can see in the following four screenshots, I received money from Paypal Australia several times, and this week, Paypal Australia takes 700 dollars from my bank account.

My concerns to Paypal Australia:

1. Who specifically is giving me money and taking my money?

2. I believe these are unauthorized payments. If Paypal is taking my money, this is illegal.

3. If Paypal is not taking my money, can you track who is usurp your identity?

4. Can you help me take my money back to any chance?

5. I haven't get in touch with either my bank or the police. I want to deal with this easily and quickly.

6. Can I contact Paypal through email or phone? I cannot find any methods, and that's why I post it here.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
