Unauthorised transaction from booking.com, PayPal closes case and refuses to help!

It appears I am one of many victims of booking.com fraud where PayPal have refused to assist. A charge of £753 to Booking.com was recently made from my PayPal account, the first I knew of it was an email receipt. The Booking.com booking is not in my name or email address and so I’ve got no idea what the booking is actually for, just that it’s been paid for using my PayPal account. For that reason, booking.com refuse to deal with me and will not even discuss anything as I don’t have a booking reference. This seems to follow a pattern and I’ve found no less than six similar cases on here. Is this planned fraud? It’s seemingly allowed to happen. PayPal have ‘investigated’ several times now and continue to close the case, they claim that evidence does NOT exist to show my account has been accessed by a third party. I am essentially being labelled as a liar despite having my account for several years and this being the first claim I’ve ever made. I wouldn’t pay £750+ for a hotel in any event and have never used PayPal to make a payment via Booking.com. I am incredibly disappointed with PayPal. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to where to go next? PayPal have been less than helpful. I had the exact situation, a notification of paypal of a charge from booking.com of more than 1000€ and I seenothing on my booking.com account. Impossible to talk with booking.com as I do not have any booking number or anything else and Pypal closed my case within less than an hour of me creating it....

This do really look like a serial SCAM

I am using bookings.com at the moment and i know how you feeling have been trying to contact them for 2 days everything is dead end haven't lost any money so i think i will delete them....

I've just been scalped of GBP 1400 via PayPal and  from my Booking.com account.
Over 10 days since I discovered and registered the fraudulent activity with both PayPal and Booking.com
Paypal dismissed the claim and stated the case is closed and I am liable along with a new negative balance
from the fraudster's actions.
My Booking.com account is still under the fraudster's name !
I've deleted all the cards/account related to it so they cannot be draw on again.
Absolutely no help or contact from either PayPal or Booking.com

There seems to be no accountability.
