Used any online services such as anti-virus free trials and forgot to cancel them? Have any malware on your devices? Get them scanned. Clicked any strange links in phishing emails? Any household access to your account?
These merchants set up billing agreements on your PayPal autopay profile so PayPal may automatically think it’s authorized.
Contact PayPal customer services and while on the line have them do a more thorough review:
1. https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/contact-us
2. Scroll down to click “Message Us” or “Call Us” option on the bottom.
