The money held in reserve was taken by Paypal.

Hello everyone,

Several months ago Paypal contacted me to tell me that they no longer wanted to continue serving as a payment platform for my business because they had found that there were too many refund requests. They added that they were going to hold in reserve the money that was in the balance ($6.432,96 USD) and I should wait 180 days (until the beginning of October 2023) after which, I should be able to recover my funds. At the beginning of October I access my Paypal account and I notice that Paypal has deducted all the money without my knowledge on february 28, 2023, just before the due date. Why did you do this without warning me and when will you reimburse me?

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Contact options for Paypal to check are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I did all that and I didn't violate their policy.
I called them at least 4 times and each time it was the same answer. They told me to wait 1 to 2 weeks after which I would receive a message from their customer service, but nothing, no message. The more time passes, the more I have a bad feeling. Clearly, I am experiencing an injustice. Paypal confiscated my money, in other words: Paypal stole from me.

I would like to add that I had already opened another Paypal account (US) several months ago (for the same business) and after waiting 180 days, I was able to get my money back.
So what Paypal did on this account is illegal. I respected their User agreement. My business is authorized by Paypal, it involves giving online courses. I had no debt, my balance was in credit and not in debit. Any customer who requested a refund, this was done the same day. During the 180 days of waiting I didn't receive any refund requests.
What Paypal did was pure theft!!!
