Subscription that I never agreed to - LuxPlus

Hi there, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can I demand a refund. I have been unknowingly charged 8.99 for 22 months by a company that - never once sent me an email nor did I buy a product since the first product purchased in October 2019. The subscription came via PayPal - do I have any buyer protection. When I look on trip advisor I can see now that this company makes money on scamming people.

Check if you had a subscription set up.
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
