Selling my car, asked to be paid via PayPal and courier collection

Had an email from a Harold [Removed] asking to buy my car without viewing due to distance and he’d arrange a courier but he must pay via PayPal. Is this one of those scams where I agree go down the line and he’ll ask me to pay for the courier costs (which of course I would refuse) or is there a way he could actually pay the funds into my actual PayPal account but then request it back after he gets my car? Thanks for your help, I know this is a scam so trying to educate myself and others to stop being done over

I’ve had the same message too. I’m a little concerned as he hasn’t seen the car. Did anything come from it?

I emailed him back saying I know it’s a scam and not heard back! I definitely wouldn’t trust it

0 paypal seller protection for motor vehicles.

Personally I would accept bank transfer or cash on collection but NOT paypal.

Thanks for your reply, not heard back so must be a scammer. Had some normal enquiries from local people thankfully so hoping it sells the traditional way upon a successful viewing
