The person I sent money seems to be a scammer. I sent the money as a friend, not buyer. Is there anyway I can get the money back? can someone please help me with this situation.

Unfortuately, no. Friends and family payments are not covered by purchase protection as it is essentially a ‘gift’ payment. Always pay by goods and services when making a purchase to receive purchase protection.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Report them for what? You sent them a gift of money voluntarily?
Advice is voluntary.
