I paid for goods on Instagram. The seller seemed very genuine and was messaging me back and fourth. I was advised to pay the £108.50 via friends & family, to avoid a fee and was told by not doing this, the goods might be on hold for 21 days until payment went through. I belived this!! I have not received any goods. I have had others messaging me saying they too have been scammed by this seller. The page has been taken down on Instagram. I'm getting no response from the scammed and PayPal won't refund me. I'm gutted. Is there anymore I can do? Thanks

Unfortunately, there’s no buyer protection on friends and family payments. They are essentially ‘gift’ payments so never pay that way when buying goods and services. Let the seller pay the fee and wait the 21 days or do the tasks to get the money released sooner.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
