I sent an invoice and got an email from “<removed>” and I am confident it is fake but I need some extra help

Hi @Cadehos and welcome,
If you have received an email that you believe is not genuine then I would recommend that you send it to spoof@paypal.com so our team can take a look at it. I have removed the email address that you added to comply with forum guidelines however it is very similar to one we use but not exact. If you have any more questions please feel to post them here.
