Scam purchase

I sent money as friends and family for FB purchase. Realized was a scam later in the day and they promise they would do a refund, but now saying they have no access. How do I get my money back?

Sorry to hear about the issue with your purchase. I know this can be concerning! Please be informed that Friends and family payments are not covered under PayPal Purchase Protection. I recommend you to contact the recipient directly to send the money back or reach out to Facebook support about the issues with their purchase platform. If you paid using your card or bank, you can also contact your financial institution to seek other dispute options to get your money back.
