I work for a payroll processing company similar to ADP or PayChex, ect...I send the direct deposits to the employees of our customers. I have an employee who alleges he was spoofed via email and his direct deposit was changed in the payroll system to a routing number and account number identified as a PayPal account. As such his funds have routed fraudulently. I am not trying to recover funds, but I do want to report the "alleged routing number and account number" as potential fraud and have someone with PayPal investigate it accordingly. Is there a direct contact email for PayPal Fraud. I have tried the "chat feature" and the answers are for reporting FRAUD done on my own individual PayPal account, same with the resolution center. This is fraud on the PayPal platform, and where there is one bad actor, there are hundreds more behind it. Anyone got any advice. I do not think PayPal wants to be known as a fraud conduit.
