I have been scammed and can't directly ask a refund because the transaction was handled by PayPal but I personally used my bank debit card and I can't find a way to request my refund

Hello @AlexRFN and @Temp20231123ac

Welcome to the PayPal Community!

I understand you'd like to file a dispute on a transaction, but it sounds like it's not showing on your PayPal account, @AlexRFN. Is that correct? If so, I apologize for any extra frustration it has added to your situation. When you need to file a dispute on a guest checkout (a purchase made through PayPal but doesn't appear on your account because you weren't logged in), you only need to reach out to Customer Support. You can contact Customer Support by selecting 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal website. Please grab your receipt ID in your payment confirmation email when you reach out.

@Temp20231123ac, I'm very sorry to hear that you had two denied dispute cases stating you were not eligible for PayPal's Buyer Protection. Some transactions are not eligible for PayPal's Buyer Protection Policy. You can learn more on our Help Center here, as well as our Acceptable Use Policy, when you select 'Legal' at the bottom of any PayPal page. You might have also received that denial message because the wrong case type was opened. I suggest reaching out to Customer Support to see if your case is eligible for an appeal.

I hope this information helps you both obtain a refund!

- Meghan
