I've received an invoice today that's addressed to someone else but has my email address. How do I report it and stop it?

Hey @louise_48,

Thank you for asking your question in our Community.

I am sorry to hear that you received an invoice that was not meant for you. It could be that a typo or spelling mistake causes the invoice to being send to an incorrect PayPal account. The best thing to do is to cancel the invoice. If it happens again you can send an email to the email address that is sending you the invoices. This way you can inform them that they have a wrong email address.

I hope this helps to resolve it.

Same thing happened to me — might even be the same company. So I found the company on facebook — it's a legitimate company, BUT, 8 hours ago the owner posted a video that she had NOT sent ANY invoices, and to report the fraud. So, if I cancel the invoice within paypal, it concerns me to send a response to a suspicious email. Please advise, thanks!
