Hello! I just created my PayPal account today and after I submitted my documentation, PayPal permanently limited my account. To clarify: • I am over the age of 18. • I have had previous PayPal accounts before but they were never permanently limited and I was able to close them without any problem. •I don't have any money on the account and I didn't make any purchases on the account yet. Don't even have a debit card or bank account on the PayPal account. I am assuming it is permanently limited because I used the temporary photo ID that came with the receipt of when I purchased my non-driver's photo ID (used the temporary ID because my actual ID didn't come in the mail yet). If this is the reason, is there any chance that the permanent limitation will be removed from my account?

Apparently the previous person lied because I contacted Customer Support again and the guy said the new account has a risk of getting limited also, so I closed the new account I made. Guess I'll just move to another platform or just use my mom's

More likely to have been the previous accounts that may be were opened before you were 18?
However only customer services can tell you why, normally they don't they just state you broke their user or acceptable use policy in some way. No harm asking though?

I contacted customer support and they told me to submit new documentation through the link they sent me in the message center to have my account unlimited so I guess I will try that and hopefully it works.

Sent in proper documentation and yet they still won't unlimit the account. Customer Support did say that I can make a new account though and so I did that.

Hi, What number did you use to talk to a person. Every time I call I only get through a machine because my account is suspended. Thanks for the help!
