Paypal transaction doesn't show up on my statement

I had a paypay transaction that was charged to my credit card, but it doesn't show on my paypal statement and I have not received the item. What is my best course of action?

It might show up as gift. Mine did.

I'm sorry to hear that the item was not received. It sounds like you made the purchase as a guest, which would mean that you didn't log in when making the payment. It would not be possible for you to open and manage a dispute through the Resolution Center for a transaction made as a guest, but you can reach out to Customer Service to discuss options. Please click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website for contact options.
