PayPal permanently limited my New Account

Hi, so I was interested in using PayPal to take my first digital art commissions next month (I’m a hobby artist) but I was skeptical about sending strangers invoices so I decided to send a few to my own separate email just to test it (I made it one cent and canceled it each time). I never received or sent money before so PayPal must’ve thought I was a bot and asked to verify my identity which I sent them my state id and it said couldn’t verify (I think it could be because I took the current photo wearing my glasses)? Then it went straight to permanently limiting my account so now I’m freaking out because I haven’t even gotten to actually using PayPal and my account was fresh aside from the few invoices I sent to myself that I canceled (my balance has always been $0). I truly think this was a big misunderstanding so is there any way I can come back from this? :’(

You can rarely appeal a permanent ban but if you want to try an appeal then contact customer services.

They 'may' pass it to the back office but the chances of the appeal being successful are slim. Paypal state that the decision is not made lightly and once made is usually final.
