Hi, I recently purchased a bulk item. As soon as I've processed the payment, the seller blocked communications from me. I then filed a case against the seller via PayPal since January 15 - 17th. And until now, I have not received any news from PayPal, originally I was supposed to receive a case update on the 25th - 27th. I've also been chasing PayPal about it but they either responded a very braindead answer or just closed the ticket. How long do I generally have to wait for an update? Much thanks!

Some information would help if you would like advice.
How did you send the funds ie which paypal option did you select?
How did you fund the paypal payment?
Which dispute type did you open?
Did you escalate to a claim?
Did the seller provide any tracking number?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Q: How did you send the funds ie which paypal option did you select?
A: Through goods & services.
Q: How did you fund the paypal payment?
A: Debit card.
Q: Which dispute type did you open?
A: Not delivered.
Q: Did you escalate to a claim?
A: Yes, the agent did say something about the case being escalated.
Q: Did the seller provide any tracking number?
A: Yes - Via FedEx but it was delivered with an empty envelope, our guess is, it's to make the order look legit.

2 points of concern, if you opened a dispute for non receipt of item then normally the seller would win if they have trackable proof of delivery so if the item turned up but empty you 'may' have to change it to item received but not as described ie empty parcel?
Secondly you said the agent said something about escalating, so does the dispute show as escalated in the resolution centre of your paypal account or does it say closed ie has it timed out and closed?
I think your best bet is to get back to customer services and make sure they are aware its a not as described claim because the parcel that was sent trackable and delivered was empty?
Also check its still an active claim?
If the agent knows all the facts and they are still reviewing the claim then all you can do is wait it out?
Advice is voluntary.
