I recently sold something on this app and when I went to claim the money PayPal asked me for a government I.d which I don’t have because the latest appointment is in June so I thought that my college I.d would work since it worked for other paying apps which it didn’t now I have a permanent account limitations for a mistake, I also gave PayPal my social security card but they’re still saying it’s fraudulent activity but that makes no sense since I’m literally contacting them. All I care for is that money because now I have to send the person basically a free item and pay for shipping (I also can’t issue a refund because when I go to it’s tells me I can’t use PayPal anymore with a red triangle) so how could I just get my money and move on cuz I’m being punished for a simple mistake.
Ditto…Told me it was "fraudulent activity" and I responded that using my account is considered "fraudulent". It's not as if I disputed anything? The only thing I did was update my banking accounts and credit cards.
You'll never get your account back. PayPal don't give a **bleep** about us. They took all my money and PayPal won't return my money nor give me any help whatsoever. You might as well count your losses cause they PayPal isn't going to help you and the Community is no help with this situation either.
Yes, my account has been permanently limited too and have not been able to get any response why? My 180 days is up now and I’ve transferred my money back into my bank account but still have no idea why I’ve been booted.
Well My PayPal account was permanently limited and after 180Days I received an Email saying my funds are eligible for withdrawal,I tried adding my bank it not adding I Linked my Card to got linked but up till I’m stilL yet toWithdraw the funds …
You can normally withdraw via any linked bank account / card already on your permanently limited account. I don't think you can add a funding source to that account.
Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in). 2. Live chat is also randomly available. 3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out. Or 4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
