Need to provide business documents but not a business! Funds are locked

Hi!

I have a recently created personal account not a business account though after a few transactions my funds have been locked and paypal is requesting an id, bank statement, business license, and explanation of business which of course I dont have as I am not a business.

I'm currently in Italy and cant call the italian support number as I only speak english. I found the canadian support number (my home country) but I can't get past the robot phone verification as my italian phone number wont be verified because of a different area code.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
