Has anyone ever had an issue a dispute against a vendor for goods? I recently had to file a dispute for two items that I purchased through a clothing vendor. I had paid with them through synchrony, PayPal.. when the vendor saw my dispute, they offered to refund me if I close the dispute. It apparently is a two-step process you have to notify Synchrony and also PayPal Synchrony has done its job. However, the case is so open in my PayPal account.. I've been trying for close to two months now to get this resolved to no avail. I've spoke to numerous agents who simply tell me they have to escalate it to charge back department and nothing ever This morning I decided to speak to a supervisor and oh boy. I have never been spoken to talked over talked down to buy a PayPal agent in my 10 years using PayPal. I'm not saying I haven't come across the route one here and there, but this one was supposed to be a supervisor identified himself as John [removed], which I am inclined to believe, was not his real name. Not only didn't help me. He made me feel like I was the person doing something wrong.. in a very smug and arrogant he asked why I filed the dispute in the first place. And that the vendor should accept synchronies letter indicating I closed out the disputes. Never addressed why PayPal isn't doing their part. So I sit here where do I go? What do I do? The vendor refuses to issue me a refund because the case is so open in my PayPal account so I can't really blame them.. I can't speak to anybody at PayPal that will give me a straight answer as to why these disputes are showing open on my account and I just don't have the 5 to 6 hours a day. It takes to try to get to somebody and in the end not get the help I need anyway. I'm not sure what's upsetting me right now the belligerent **bleep** that I had the pleasure of speaking to today or the fact that I don't know if I'm ever going to see my credit I really don't know what to do except keep calling back. I've used PayPal for years now 10 and I find it very convenient but after this, I think I'm gonna look for another way.. it's not PayPal And if you review these and if you could hear the phone call, I'm not so sure you would want "John [removed]" to be representing your company. I know if he was one of my employees he would be gone.. so if anybody has had an experience with this situation, where PayPal is either dragging its feet, or for whatever reason will not close out disputes that I filed with them even after I uploaded the proof that I close them with Synchrony please let me know .
