Having opened a dispute through PayPal and the retailer dragging their feet I have finally started to get somewhere but my dispute is about to be closed unless I escalate the case..is there anyway I can get more time or should I just escalate it?

NO, escalate it or it will time out and auto close.
Once closed you can't re-open it OR open a second one for the same transaction.
The seller can still refund once you escalate if they wish to.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you..I will escalate this, Shame there is no other option but the retailer initially did not respond to my emails or phone messaging until after I contacted PayPal which looking on Trustpilot seems to be their preferred method of dealing with problems 😢
