My account was blocked without explanation.

Yesterday I received email from Paypal stating: "We're initiating closure of your Paypal account."

Quote: "After a thorough review of your PayPal account, we're initiating its closure in order to protect us from potential financial losses. You'll no longer be able to use PayPal account."

No one in the support chat responds. I don't understand why this happened. My account is fully verified. I used it to transfer amounts received from Upwork. No fraud or any other activity has ever been an issue, I can provide documents for every single transaction I have.

Also, I'm a citizen of the Republic of Georgia, but I entered a card registered in a Russian "Tinkoff" bank. I suspect that may be an issue, as many Russians reported they could not register Tinkoff cards using Paypal.

But you need to understand that this is just a bank account. I have one in Switzerland and another one in the US. I am not a Russian citizen and never was.

And my passport clearly states that.

So please tell me why Paypal blocked my account the same day when other Tinkoff card holders experienced problems - and didn't even check my passport and credentials? And most importantly, why doesn't anyone respond for 2 days in a raw?

You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation or account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Thank you for your reply.

But I would like to have someone on the chat with me, or at least in the resolution center.
