Had 14 consecutive payments of$ 4.55 from METAPAY!!!! It was pulled from my account yesterday.I have never used metapay and have never added a card to metapay. The charge had the name Dannalyn attatched to it.Upon searching the internet, this name came up many times as fraudulent charges from a year ago.Why isnt anything being done about this??How can 14 charges get past the security with a name synonomous with fraud??It seems there must be an inside plug at work here, because it would have to have access to the bypass.PLEASE HELP,NONE OF OUR ACCOUNTSCAN BE SAFE IF THIS IS WHATS HAPPENING!!!!!I was told by support chat bots that nothing can be done about this????WHAT??WHY??I think they have an INSIDER<how can a formal investigation be put into place??It was actually from my Cash App,however it is usually funded through my Pay Pal.Cash app takes mzero responsibilty OF COURSE!!!!

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

Failing that talk to your card issuer to cancel the unauthorised transactions if that is what they were?

The card issuer Sutton Bank, can’t see the transactions due to the agreement between cashapp and Sutton Bank, they can’t do anything, they just issue the cards.

Hello @Dylanlhdc85 and @Otbmayfield,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know about the unauthorized transactions on your PayPal account and I understand this can be frustrating. Please log in to your account to review the transaction details. Select the payment in question, and a full transaction receipt will be provided. Any information we have regarding the payment will be notated there. Before you proceed further, have you checked to see if this is an unrecognized billing agreement payment? Here’s some information on how to locate your preapproved payment agreements and how to cancel a preapproved payment agreement in this Help Center Article. Once you cancel the subscription/billing agreement, if there are any, kindly report the transactions through the Resolution Center. Our Concerned Team will look into the case and will update you with the results. If you need any help, you can contact the team by clicking the "Contact us" option at the bottom of PayPal page. Support is also available through Facebook by sending PM, Twitter and Instagram on DM.

Regards,

Ayesha

I had 15 transactions on 12/8/2023 from MetaPay hit my cashapp, they deactivated my card (new card that I got after reporting old card was compromised) for not verifying my ID is what they say, but for me to get new card, I had to verify ID, so I am still battling cashapp over deactivating my card and letting some transactions go through for claiming I filed fraudulent or false disputes.
