I try to connect to my account, but it says to do a security check, so when I enter my phone number, it says the number is invalid, which makes no sense because the phone number is the number on my account. I'm not sure what to do because that's the only option it's giving me

Do you have a mobile (not landline) phone issued in your country and registered in just your name verified on your Paypal account?

It is issued and registered here but I believe the payments are under my moms name but it is a mobile number and it is verified

Thats a no then, try adding one registered in your name.
