Limitation on my account, because PayPal mistakenly thinks I'm a minor.

Hello, I'm new and I need help because PayPal isn't providing any options to contact a problem, and in fact not helping at all. I needed a way to contact them via message. my issue is recently PayPal limited my account after i inserted my national ID, just to change my name. and now PayPal thinks I'm under 18 when I'm not, I'm 18 and I've been here for hours to try and figure out how to solve it. but PayPal isn't providing any information, most of them are not helpful at all. I had my 100 dollars given by my aunt, but i refunded her until i resolve this limitation issue.

The point may be.... were you 18 when you opened your paypal account? If not then it would not matter what age you are now, once paypal realised you opened it under 18 it would be limited as an illegally opened minor account.

Also you have to open a paypal account in your legal name. You can only change a name for a minor 2 character change OR for legal reasons for example marriage. You can't change a name from a nickname or fake name to your legal name. So if that is the case then it would be the more likely reason for an account limitation??

Yes, I was 18 when I open my PayPal. I WAS about to change my name for a personal safety reasons as I plan on taking commissions as an artist. hope that's understandable.

You can only have your legal name on your personal account.

If you have a fake name then the account would be permanently limited as soon as you tried to withdraw funds OR were requested to verify your account with i.d. information.
