Legit Email or Not

Hi Everyone, I need help. I Have a ps3 for sale, and i used gumtree to advertise. someone messaged me saying they want it and he will pay via paypal.I set the account up and he said he will transfer the money to me.I get an email in spam folder, saying that buyer paid me R2600 funds will only reflect after the shipping details are sent. so i check the email address and it is [removed]aol.com. exactly like this. what should i do ?

this is my first time, so i am new to paypal

It’s a scam. Ignore them. If someone really paid, you will see a record of payment in your PayPal account, even if the money is subject to a PayPal hold. Tracking can be entered through the payment record itself.
