Issues with goods from EKOMM SOCIETY LTD

Recently bought item from this vendor, item was as described but far too small to be fit for purpose.  This does not seem to constitute a violation of sales policy but it should as advert is misleading.  Anybody had similar experiences or am I alone with this?

Your options are to try a paypal dispute for not as described or a chargeback if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card?

Just regretfully bought Ekomm Society Ltd online marketed WiFi Panorama security camera. Do NOT buy despite the discount! I think they are phishing for emails. The camera is defective and does not even pair with the app Yi lot or some Chinese app. It's a total waste of money with zero tech support.

If it doesn't work which is normally the case with goods from China then........

How do I open a dispute with a seller when a purchase goes wrong?

You can open a dispute in the Resolution Centre of your PayPal account within 180 days of payment if:
•You don’t receive the item OR service
•You receive an item but it’s significantly different than the description or you receive a totally different product.

By opening a dispute, you can communicate directly with your seller to work out a problem transaction.

If you reach an agreement with the seller you can close the dispute. If you're still not happy with the result, you can escalate the dispute into a claim. Paypal will review the claim and decide on reimbursement.

These steps apply to Personal accounts. If you have a Business account, please log in to see the steps that apply to you.

To open a dispute:
1.Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click on the transaction and use the resolve a problem option at the bottom of that details page.

Note:
•Generally buyers must wait at least 7 days from the date of payment to escalate a dispute for an item not received
•Where an item has not been received, please ensure you have given the seller enough time before opening a dispute

Do not close the dispute until you have a refund or your item.
If a seller states that they can't refund until you have closed the dispute don't believe them.
Escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days (before it times out), if you need Paypal to get involved.

If the item arrives and its not what you ordered / not as described then make sure you change the dispute quickly from non receipt. If the dispute times out before you can change it then contact customer services to open a second dispute for the new reason.
If that does not work then if you funded your paypal payment via a card then contact your card issuer and see if they will issue a chargeback.

Hello, I bought an item and you deducted the amount from my card twice so that I did not receive my item and I did not even receive the message confirming the purchase. Please find a solution to my problem before I take legal action against you

Yes, I asked politely, even though you harmed me. I made the purchase on March 10, and deducted the amount in two installments. I tried repeatedly to contact you, to no avail, and I have all the evidence.

I ordered a heater from this company 8pm one night. They charged me for 4 items. I emailed within 10 minutes asking to cancel the order once i realised I had been scammed. They emailed me back over a day later saying the goods had been despatched. The 4 heaters arrived in 2 parcels a week later. Now they are saying I have to return them to China at my expense. But there is no evidence on the parcel it was sent from China - no customs labels and it usually takes weeks - around 5 to receive goods from China. The label on the parcel gives a Return Address as a distribution centre in Cannock WS11 8LD - Yun Express is mentioned as being there which is the company they might use. I have told them to refund my money and I will return the goods to Cannock, where I suspect they came from.
