When buying an item and paying through PayPal, do I, as a buyer, have PayPal protection if I do not receive the package, assuming it is lost or stolen during shipping?

You should have buyer protection for non receipt of item as long as you paid using the goods/services option.
Why not read up the section on buyer protection in paypals user agreement so you can risk assess your purchases?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
