Is scam possible with the payment intel?

Can someone abuse my PayPal Account with the information he needs to send me money? Someone from the US has to send me (Germany) money but somehow I don't trust him and suspect a scam. But the only things he gets are my Email and Name. I don't see how that could be used against me.

I do understand your hesitancy. I can assure you that providing the sender with your PayPal email address and full name is secure. 

Please always remember to never provide anyone with your PayPal password or any secuirty codes that are sent to you. As long as you don't provide the sender with these details, your PayPal account would remain secure.
