Invoice sent - pending?

How to know if payment made Hi, I sent an invoice to someone who says they’ve paid via credit/debit card as they themselves do not have PayPal. The invoice when viewed ‘invoice sent - pending’… does this mean pending to come into my account subject to a payment check or still pending to be paid by the recipient? TIA
