Invoice partially paid

Hello, I'm a freelancer, I offer in home services. I always ask a 50% down-payment to cover the material in case something gets wrong. One client partially paid my invoice, the job is done, but looks like she is not going to complete the payment. Everything was okay with my job, I have even a written conversation to prove that everything was fine and pictures. How can I collect the payment? There is a way to force it, or it's better to report it to the police?

You can't force someone to pay you and I doubt the police would be interested as its a civil not criminal matter.

So it's better to use Stripe, where I can collect the credit card info. Thank you!

No problem 😁 matters not one jot to me what you use.

Personally I never provide goods or services until full payment is made.
