International Payment Fees

I recently had someone reach out to me wanting to pay me $5,000 and it obviously seems like a scam because they asked me to take pictures of $200 in Google Play Cards to cover the international payment transfer fees (Payment is supposedly from Germany business account to a U.S. personal account). I, of course, have given no personal info and am not planning on making any gift card purchase but what are the actual fees for international payments of this amount from Germany to U.S. and can they be made using a normal debit card?

Any fees charged are deducted from your buyers payment before the remainder is credited to your paypal account balance.
You do not pay any fees upfront.
