IBAN removal

I need a new paypal account, but my old account is limited cause I was under 18 when I made it. Is there a way to close it or at least remove the IBAN from it so I can make a new account? (I'm having trouble finding a way to contact Paypal Customer Service about this problem)

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.

PayPal asks for a birth date when you register so whilst you can make a PayPal account with false information the account will need to be verified to accept funds into your balance or lift any limits.
As you would be unable to verify your account it would be permanently locked for further use.

You would never be able to use that illegally opened underage account again or anything linked to it but once 18 Paypal may allow you to open a new account. Opening a new account is not guaranteed as you have already broken their rules once so check first.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
