Hello.About half a year ago I got my Paypal account banned.I was stupid, and to be honest I kinda deserved it.I made a paypal account and used it to sell some gaming services and accounts.I didn't get insane amounts or anything, but I later found out it was against TOS.I should've checked that before.Well,my account got limited permanently.Few days agoi I received an email saying I can withdraw my money.I have like 80 eur inside. It might not seem a lot for you,but I am from romania and that money would really help me 🙂
I was wondering, how could I go about withdrawing those funds?(keep in mind,I was an idiot and lied about almost all the information on my account - My AGE and name ,and since I am 17 i do not own a bank account or card,I have nothing linked to my account).I used to withdraw my money using my IRL friends paypal(he has a card).

This is my first question.ANd my second - being banned, does that affect my ability to create a future account?I'd wish that once I turn 118,get a card I ll start a anew legit account.Am I banned like, for life? Thanks in advance.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
