I’ve had my Facebook account hacked and have no access to it.

I’ve had payments taken out of my old Facebook ad account. PayPal have flagged this up and are declining the payment. However should I close my PayPal account and set up a new one for safety ? Any help is greatly received as I am worried sick.

Your best bet is to contact Facebook c.s. and get them to locate and delete that Facebook account?

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

If its already cancelled ie marked as inactive then no more payments should be made.

You can also cancel the card linked to it if that was your chosen payment method and get a new debit card?

Thank you so much for this. I’ve not slept more than an hour in 48 hours. I’ve been constantly changing everything I can manage and freaking out when I find they have tried to gain access to an app I used 10 years ago. Doesn’t matter if I haven’t used it it’s still got personal info.
