I received an email from paypal containing an unauthorized transaction

Last week I received an email from paypall containing unauthorized transaction. I cannot login to my paypal account (it has security questions beside my phone verification method which I wasn't able to answer. I also could not get pass the hotline chatbot today).

 

May I kindly ask you for your help in terms of resolving the issue? Many thanks in advance.

I understand someone else logged into your PayPal account and changed the login information. I'm sorry to hear that, but we'll be happy to help. Since you can't log into your PayPal account, please contact Customer Support on Twitter by sending DM to @AskPayPal or a PM on Facebook by going to facebook.com/PayPal. Support may also be reached by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal webpage. After you have reset your password and security questions, you'll want to file an unauthorized dispute. I also recommend setting up 2-Step Verification for an extra layer of security.
