I opened a US paypal account by accident, but need a canadian one. I cant close my account now.

I keep getting this popup:
"We need more info about you and your business
We're about to ask you for some basic information to verify your identity. We'll check your legal full name and your residential address. Once that's done, you'll be able to start accepting payments with PayPal. We don't check your credit, and we'll securely store your data.
Quick tip: Answering accurately now can help you save time and avoid uploading documents later."
Which then doesnt let me go into my settings to close my account. very annoying and not sure how to get around this. I want to open a canadian account.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.
Advice is voluntary.
