I need help to close my uae business PayPal account

Hello, please my united Arab Emirates business PayPal account got blocked/ ban about two months ago and I haven't even used it for a single transaction. My profile and email were verified but I didn't get to add my bank or card details before it was deactivated. I tried to close the account today but it shows that I can't close it and I should contact Paypal for help. Please help me close my account.

Sadly you can't close a permanently limited account. Paypal limits it to stop you removing anything from it.
They don't want you to be able to use anything linked to it to try and open another Paypal account.

Wow! That is so inconsiderate of PayPal. What do I do now? Does it mean I can't use PayPal anymore? I already relocated to another country recently, can I reopen another account with my new place? So there's no way out?

Were you banned because you were using an UAE paypal account in your new country?

That's what I suspect. Do you know if there's a way out? Can I create a new business account for the new region regardless?

If that was the reason then yes you should be able to open a new account in your new country as long as you don't use the email address linked to the old account or anything else linked to it.

You may want to double check with customer services first?
