I have been scammed. The seller refuses to respond to the case.

So, I was trying to buy Taylor Swift tickets. I have been incredibly skeptical of doing so, but also so hopeful that something would come up. This person that I began talking to offered me two tickets for $200 each. I agreed as long as we used Goods and services. They declined at first, but then said they would accept that. I think I was blinded by the joy of someone actually agreeing to that because scammers usually won’t. So, I sent them the money. I sent the proof that I sent the money. They said they received it and were sending the tickets. A few minutes pass and they turn around and say that their sister claimed ( because they were using her paypal ) she didn’t get the payment. They started to get aggressive with me, but I repeatedly told them that I sent the payment, the money had left my bank account. They then started saying they sent me the tickets already and that I was scamming them because they sent me the tickets and I hadn’t sent them money. For a while I didn’t see anything they had sent me, but eventually I saw a fake Ticketmaster email in my spam ( ticketmasteronline9 ) claiming they sent tickets. At this point, I was repeatedly telling them I didn’t want the tickets anymore, I just wanted my money back and for them to not send me anything.m I filed a claim for a refund, but my question is, is there anyway I can speed up the process? I asked them to respond to the claim, but they refused saying they have never seen a transaction.

You can escalate to a claim once 7 days post payment has past.

However if they can prove you received the digital item (even though they are fake) you may not win.

Was this resolved with Paypal?

I was just looking to make payment for tickets also but checking if G&S will give me the protection I need.
