I reached out to one of the creators for a custom order. Communication is more or less smooth and done via Email. Now, he wants me to pay for the digital product in advance as it is custom and he needs to invest resources. He wants to do payment method via Paypal and claims I can use Dispute if he fails to meet the criteria.
How do I go about this to avoid looking like an idiot?
I always used Paypal for online payments thorough third providers, never like this. What criteria needs to be met from both mine and his side, so that we are both protected and ensure that Paypal can resolve the issue if we encounter it?
