How do I economically return a purchase to Asia for a refund

I purchased an accessory clothing item from supposedly a well-known USA manufacturer, only to learn it was a counterfeit product that shipped from Singapore via a NJ address. Now that I am asking for a refund for the counterfeit item (also wrong size, style and color), the seller is only providing a full refund IF I ship their product back to Singapore (I did not knowingly order this item from Singapore). Is there a cheap way to ship a small item to Asia with tracking? Or should I continue my dispute with Paypal? I don't mind sending the item back as I do not want it, but the seller is trying to deter me from doing so, given it's Singapore and the cost/time associated with such a return. Has anyone else run into this?
