Recently “sold” something through Facebook market place. Asked buyer to send via PayPal and received an email from them stating funds have been placed on hold till shipment details have been seen / sent. Email came from an email address and ended in gmail.com but from PayPal.uk (all one word) transfers1. (Rearrange wording to post information) I’m assuming this is a scam?
I think so yes I have dealt with the same thing and never got my money after I did send the items and the person told me they just never received the items but I never got my items back so it was strange but I have got the exact same email again from someone else I was trying to sell shoes too as well so I assume it’s just a scam that’s going on at the moment and I don’t trust it so be safe with this as I already lost out
