If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

No. Wrong. ‘Confiscate’ is theft. Your money is yours, not theirs. If u earned that money legally and entrusted it to PayPal to hold for u, and they steal it from u, do not do business with that, there are plenty of places that do not steal.

If you violate their acceptable use policy then its a penalty and not theft.

Just like if you break the law and get a fine, not rocket science really to work that one out.

I understand, but it’s so unfortunate bc I’m not at fault here. And the deadline of 180 days they gave is over and I expect them to allow me use my cash at least: ppal already deducted the money in question from my balance and all I ask is for then go at least release the remaining balance bc it’s already past the 180 days deadline. Even if a criminal was sentenced 7 years and it’s past the sentence he has to be released. It’s jut that simple: paypal is just cruel and doesn’t really care about itself customers. I’m being charged for something I’m not even at fault for so WTH will they still good my cash after 200 days that’s unfair.
