Has anyone been hit with fraudulent charges from Actitech in the last six months? I saw posts from back in 2022, but didn't see anything recently. Why does PayPay still allow charges from this company to go through when so many people have complained about fraudulent charges!!? I have never done business with Actitech, yet they have hit my account with approximately $240 worth of charges! PayPay should verify charges with account owner if there are numerous complaints against a company!

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel. As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.
If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.
Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you so much. You helped me to cancel. I didn’t take out any subscription with these people but they have now taken over £100.

I have charges from Actitech company that I never signed up for. I spoke to someone at Achitech who did not help me. Gave me a number to call and the message was this call cannot be completed as dialed. Please refund my the $59.13 ASAP.

This has happened to me too. I asked PayPal for buyer protection but was refused as they claim the payment was not unauthorised.

If in your approved payments / subscriptions then paypal legally have to pay it.
A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel OR do a free survey and don't ''untick'' the box setting up a subscription.
As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.
If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.
