Then it is not an authorized payment and you should contact PayPal customer support after contacting Derila.  They have a 30 day money back guarantee.  If they refuse to honor their guarantee, I would then dispute the payment through the PayPal disputes page by going to PayPal.com, clicking the "help" button at the top, scroll down and click "contact us".  Follow the links there to dispute a payment.

Define "ripping people off".  How did they manage to get that money from you?  Was it an approved transaction?

Don’t let them gaslight you. You already said that you didn’t authorize it.

Yes when it occurred I panicked and called my bank because I didn't order or authorize anything. At that point I thought it was a total fraud or scammer, Well a few later I received a email from Derila with all this information about a pillow order, so I called and they had the nerve to tell me they couldn't cancel the order.. I couldn't believe this because a hour at most had past since they charged my card. After that conversation I found out PayPal was is involved with this whole thing that's how they were able to charge my card because my credit card was attached to my PayPal account.. It's a total mess I have no pillows or money all because I simply scanned a QRC code while watching YouTube..

Can it be that Paypal and Derila are arranging increased orders without your actual placement of order button being used?

They are ripping me and many other off to the tune of over $231.00 and they somehow set it up for 3 more automatic shipments.  I got nowhere with the Paypal resolution center, they denied any wrongdoing and I maintain that this is a scam operation. Others on the internet have the exact same complaint as I do, such as:

PAYPAL PURCHASE SAN JOSE CA
ECOMLT LLC DERILA

$116.26

LocationPAYPAL PURCHASE SAN JOSE CAPosting DateJanuary 09, 2024

18.01.24 Update is Derila contacted me & have sorted my complaint to my satisfaction. They were very apologetic for what happened so in view of this I am happy to increase my rating.
Ordered 1 pillow entered card details to pay then had to trawl loads of pages to say I didn't want insurance, then it tries to upsell to 4 pillows, I clicked to view the deal and then the order was immediately changed by Derila and they took payment for them. I immediately went to banking app but it was too late payment taken. I emailed & was told they couldn't cancel. I received the 4 and tried to organise a return which has been ignored completely so ended up paying £128 for 4 pillows I did not need or authorise payment for & unable to return. The pillow is pretty much the same as a bog standard memory foam pillow you can get anywhere. Would not recommend Derila to my worst enemy.

I was looking through their web page to purchase one pillow. My phone died before I placed an order. Imagine my surprise when I receive an email ordering me not 1 but 4 pillows that I did not order. Getting ahold of anyone is impossible, they don't reach out until you lodge a complaint. when they did make contact they tried to make that I changed my mind. when I pointed out that this was fraud. They agreed to a 50% refund if I would just keep the pillows. Surprise surprise, NO REFUND!!!!! back to lodging another ccomplaint.

Date of experience: January 02, 2024

DO NOT BUY!! The pillow is not all the company claims and their return policy will cost you more than the product, due to international address on return. Customer service is vague and unhelpful. You will be very unhappy with the product for your money spent and unable to get refund because of out of pocket cost for return. Much better pillows and refund policies on Amazon and Walmart.

Hopefully this is seen prior to purchase. They charge your card for more than selected. They provide an address in Lithuania for returns when items are shipped from NY - AND somehow manage to register you for auto renewals. If you bought anything from them check your method of payment and if you haven't bought from them DO NOT.
No idea how these people are in business.
I might set a reminder to leave a poor review once a month until they go out of business.

I sure wish I'd read the reviews before buying - apparently I'm not the only one who ordered 1 pillow but was charged for 4, and - you guessed it - they don't pay the cost of the return shipping for the 3 unwanted and quite heavy pillows. THIS WAS A SCAM!!!!!

Date of experience: January 17, 2024

I JUST ordered what I thought was 1 pillow at $39.95 and was charged $108.00 on my credit card!!! (Calling card company tomorrow and tell them to stop payment)

WHAT THE HELL??? I did not order 2,3 or even 4 pillows.

Shame on Delira and shame on me for NOT reading the awful reviews before ordering.

With all the horrible reviews about Delira scamming people, you'd think something would change???

Scammed people, alert the better business bureau. THIS IS FRAUD!!!

If I could rate less, I would. DO NOT BUY. Pillows are not as advertised. Sizes are not to standards. Customer service jumps to loops to process RMAs. You will have to pay over $40pp to return as their return address is intentionally in Lithuania to dissuade patrons from returns. I can't imagine how many international mercantile laws they are breaking. Search Amazon for better pillows and better policies and business practices. You have been warned. Read the other remarks.

Website suggest changing your order quantities by itself. I end up buying 4 pillows instead of 1. Contact the company as soon as the order went through. They didn't allow me to change quantities or cancel the order. They do offer return, but then you have to pay shipping of large items and of course won't be worth it. Really bad online selling practice.

Date of experience: January 14, 2024

This company is a scam. If you place an order they will add items to your order and charge you for them, including a recurring charge for a "pillow maintenance agreement". Google "Derila Pillow Scam" and look at all the links to the hundreds of people they have cheated. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Date of experience: January 13, 2024

OK so I ordered 1 pillow. When the confirmation came back somehow that turned into 4 pillows. I immediately contacted them to correct the order, they refused to do so but assured me that I could return the unused pillows for a refund. the punch line? They would cheerfully return the pillows but I had to ship them at my expense to...wait for it... LITHUANIA! Yeah, they shipped my order from Buffalo NY, but returns had to go through Lithuania. They gave me a partial refund but this is simply a scam. The pillows? They are OK, nothing special.

I ordered 1 pillow but have been charged for 4 at € 126,65
Then charged me another € 11,57 on the 9th of January 2024

I have sent countless email but have had no replies
As an old age pensioner € 138,22 is a lot to lose on something you didn’t order or want.
Would not recommend this company BUYER BEWARE.

SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I saw the advert on YouTube and ordered one pillow and paid by PayPal. I was billed for 6 pillows. When I tried to contact customer services by e-mail they took 4 days to reply and said 'too late - the items have already been shipped'. I lost approx £100 of my precious pension and savings due to this SCAM.

ORDER # 9pbbok5

Updated review after response from Derila. As can be seen below 'the company's' response is unconvincing and unhelpful. I have provided the order number - all the details they have asked for are contained on that.

Date of experience: November 05, 2023

Just like one customer said on Trustpilot, I order one pillow with with free pillow case. They charged me for 4 pillows & 4 pillow cases. Immediately after my PayPal account was charged I reached out to the company after almost waiting 45 min to get through they finally answered and said they would adjust the order which they didn't and still sent out 4 piano 4 pillow cases. To ship back items would cost me 167.20 which PayPal says they could only cover half the shipping cost so I would end up paying around 80 dollars and end up with no pillows . This company operates using unethical methods to steal your money. Do not buy from them and look on amazon instead. That way you don't get **bleep** over . This company is very shady and I did everything I could do to make this right. This time the scammer won. But I'm gonna spread this message and make a youtube video and expose these crooks.

Date of experience: January 16, 2024

Very disappointed with the deceptive practices of this company. I ordered one pillow and immediately contacted customer service when I was charged for 4 pillows. Customer service said they corrected my order. Then I received an email saying that they couldn't correct my order because of their exceptionally speedy shipment process. I received 4 pillows. I understand that I'll need to send these back to Lithuania at my own expense and they pay a 15% restocking fee. This is a scam!!!!

Did you get this taken care of? PayPal knows about this. So does the BBB, & FTC. It is all over Sitejabber, Google reviews, PayPal Community, etc. This company goes by numerous names. PAYPAL needs to stop allowing these companies to SCAM people. I agree that PayPal has to be part of it because they are not stopping the companies. Company names: Ecomlitllc EcomLT LLC ECOMLT ECOMLT LLC Ecomlt Llc Ecomlit LLC Ecomit.co

No I never got my money back all I received was the run around and I'm just lost and afraid to scan any bar code.I had to cancel my credit cards and turn off any form of the auto payments option with PayPal.. I truly believe they're in it with these companies.. I'm convinced there's no way these companies could do this to people and get away for so long. And the crazy part ,to this very day Pay Pal is allowing them to continue using their service to rip people off.My question is why would they be so inclined to keep allowing them to do so if they weren't getting a kickback.. Not sure who's able to stop this but I sure hope I live to get my payback..And see both of these companies pay for this hurt and financial inconvenience they have cause so many people.. I was totally ripped off by PayPal and Derila
