There are two sellers who I believe are trying to scam us and disputed the transaction and now my account is negative 600$ saying they never received them. They were sent via regular USPS and should probably be arriving anyway if not already. I don't know what to do. Do I have any protection? My son has a 2d grade reading level so I made sure to address the envelopes and add stamps and drive him to the mailbox. I don't normally sell anything so I am not familiar with this process but do I have any protection? They can say they never received them. The cards were worth more too but he agreed to a price so I couldn't change it even though he doesn't have the capacity to agree to anytype of binding contract or agreement. He has already spent the money so he can pay to see a neuropsychologist to treat his illness as they are out of network. Unfortunately we don't have any type of tracking since it was sent via regular mail. @Sellerhelp1 am i being scammed?

Normally for a seller to win a dispute for non receipt of item they have to provide paypal with a tracking number that proves delivery of the item to the buyers paypal registered address.
So please say you didn't send an item worth $600 normal post without tracking???

I honestly didn't know any better as I don't sell things. My 19 year old son is on the autistic spectrum and went and did this without me. He has outbursts and when I said no it got really bad so I agreed to let the buyer send the money on PayPal. I have to choose my battles wisely. I just put the pokeman cards in a large brown envelope, added stamps, and dropped it in the mailbox. I even added extra stamps as a precaution. Do you have any advice? I am a wreck as I need to get my son to his neuropsychological appointment and need the money as it is an hour away. My next paycheck is next Friday.

If your buyer escalates the dispute to a claim and wins (as you can't supply tracking) then paypal would allow you time to re-pay the negative balance.
